About Cieslak Law
Dan is a highly motivated, intelligent and energetic attorney who appears throughout the Midwest on behalf of his clients. Dan has chosen Clarkston as the home base for his residence and expanding practice because of its tight knit community and central location in metro Detroit. The Ironwood office and its work are the result of Dan’s familial connections with the Western Upper Peninsula. The two locations truly make it possible for Cieslak Law to represent citizens throughout the state of Michigan.
Rather than focusing on one specific area of the law, Mr. Cieslak began this process by focusing on the citizens of Clarkston and the surrounding area, as well as the people in the Western Upper Peninsula. Cieslak Law now has the resources to handle most any legal issue facing an individual, whether it be through direct representation, or by finding the right attorney for the matter.
Mr. Cieslak has had great success in tailoring fee structures to secure strong representation for individuals, who have been charged with crimes, physically injured, wrongfully terminated, or are facing family problems.
Mr. Cieslak is also heavily involved in business litigation, advocating on behalf of partnerships, corporate entities and small business owners to protect their interests in the face of a volatile and changing business environment. Mr. Cieslak’s tact, attention to detail and personal business experience augment his ability to recognize and assert his clients’ positions. Mr. Cieslak has a vast network of business law contacts, and has worked with some of the most powerful attorneys in Michigan on several complex, high-dollar matters.
Dan became a lawyer because he had always been fascinated by the apparent mystery and complexity of the profession. He now prides himself on his ability to explain legal concepts to his clients in ways that make it easy for them to make informed decisions.
“If you truly know your client, you should be able to analogize the legal landscape for them in a way that allows them to firmly grasp any given situation.”
